Raw Data Access (IDA)

All USC ADRC data are shared through the Image and Data Archive (IDA), a secure research repository run by the Laboratory of Neuro Imaging (LONI) at the Mark and Mary Stevens Neuroimaging and Informatics Institute (Stevens INI). Qualified scientists may request de-identified imaging, clinical, cognitive, and biomarker data for research, teaching, or planning clinical studies. Access requires agreement to the USC ADRC Data Use Agreement and publication policies below.

Apply for Data Access

To apply, accept the Data Use Agreement and submit the online application, including your institutional affiliation and how you plan to use the data.

Application Review

The USC ADRC Data and Publications Committee reviews applications, usually within two weeks. The committee confirms each applicant’s affiliation with a scientific or educational institution and evaluates the proposed use. Incomplete applications or those without a clear focus will not be approved. Decisions are sent by email, and approved applicants receive login information for the IDA.

Process Steps: Apply Online → Application Review → Email Notification → Access Granted
If the committee needs more information, we will email you. Your application returns to review once we receive it.

The application must include:

  • Acceptance of the Data Use Agreement
  • Submission of the Online Application Form
  • Investigator’s institutional affiliation
  • Proposed uses of the USC ADRC data

Maintaining Your USC ADRC Data Use Account

The Data Use Agreement requires an annual update. About one month before your account expires, we will email you a reminder; accounts expire automatically if no update is submitted. You can log in at any time to add or remove co-investigators, submit manuscripts, or update your contact information.
