The ADRC USC facilitates the request and acquisition of CNS tissue and biofluid samples for research purposes. We are committed to supporting scientific advancements by providing researchers with the necessary resources to explore and understand neurological conditions.

Before proceeding with your request, please ensure you have the following: 

• A detailed description of your research project. 
• Institutional approval for the use of human tissue and/or biofluid samples, if applicable. 
• A clear understanding of the type and quantity of tissue required for your study. 

To uphold rigorous, reproducible science, we now blind investigators to pathologic diagnosis for most studies (apart from assay development). Unblinding occurs following completion of experiments. Tissue requests are reviewed by a scientific panel for rigor in combination with scarcity of tissue requested; however, our goal is to share and we welcome pilot studies and requests from all investigators.
