Dr. Sheikh-Bahaei is an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Neurology, Keck School of Medicine of USC. She is a neuroradiologist with Ph.D. in Alzheimer’s disease imaging using advanced MRI techniques and PET. Dr. Sheikh-Bahaei has read and scored the pilot data for development of the in-house automated technique and as an expert she will provide clinical scoring and visual quantification of the perivascular spaces for approximately 20% of the cases per cohort (total of 200 cases) to validate the automated measurements proposed in this study. She will be attending biweekly group meeting, and will be involved in interpretation of the results, assess their clinical significance and their implication in the clinical setting.
