USC ADRC Database

The ADRC Study Database is a centralized hub offering clinical, biomarker, and genetic data for research collaboration and analysis. The database includes data from the following studies: Genetic AD Subtypes in Latinos (GADSIL), Biomarkers of ABCA1 Mediated Functions in Alzheimer’s (VCSGT), Diverse VCID (DVCID), Model-Based Cerebrovascular Markers (DVR), DHA Delivery to Brain Pilot Study (DHA2BRP), and Standardized Centralized Alzheimer’s & Related Dementias Neuroimaging (SCAN).

PPG Database

The PPG Study Database by USC explores the role of vascular factors and genetic risks in dementia. It supports research into how conditions like hypertension and stroke contribute to cognitive decline, providing essential data for prevention, early detection, and treatment of dementia-related conditions.

Postmortem Data Sets

Access to neuropathological data and tissue images from ADRC autopsies provides invaluable insights into the physical manifestations of Alzheimer's and related disorders. Additionally, the Neuropath Teaching Set includes an extensive collection of 1,500 slides, each featuring anatomical sections and pathology reads with clinical interpretations. This set is an essential resource for education and research.

Overview of Data Sharing

Each ADRC projects have their own specific data use agreement and data sharing policy. Click on each specific projects to figure out each project's requirements.

SCAN Data Sharing

The NACC Data Platform makes harmonized images and numerical summaries (e.g., Standardized Uptake Value Ratio ‘SUVRs’ and volumes) available to ADRCs and approved researchers around the world through the following mechanisms:
ADRC Portals: ADRCs can access and download SCAN data for their participants

SCAN QC Dashboards: ADRCs can track and audit their image submission’s quality control (QC) status and other summary information in real-time.

All SCAN Variables: Numerical values (SUVRs and volumes) will be accessible to ADRCs via the ADRC Portals for all their participants.
